Keepwise Partners, Inc. (“Keepwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Keepwise Books. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account information such as name, email address, password, and optional profile details.
• Entity and financial data you enter or sync into the product, including chart of accounts, transactions, documents, and reports.
• Bank connection data processed through providers like Plaid when you link accounts.
• Usage and device data such as log events, IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Keepwise Books
• Authenticate users and protect accounts (including 2FA)
• Process subscriptions and send transactional email
• Provide customer support
• Detect abuse, debug issues, and meet legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your data. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us host, email, process payments, or connect banks, under contractual confidentiality and use limits
• People you invite to your entities or firm workspace, according to the roles you assign
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

4. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Customer data is hosted in the United States. Our platform is designed for SOC 2 Type II controls and undergoes independent audits. Role-based access limits who can see what inside the product.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain account and entity data while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent login.

7. Children

Keepwise Books is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Your choices

You may update profile details in Settings, manage invited users, disconnect linked banks, and request access or deletion of personal data by emailing support@keepwise.partners.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date.
